Vont is a radio personality and assistant producer for heritage morning show, The Dave Ryan Show, on 101.3 KDWB in Minneapolis. He’s also on-air in Baltimore, St. Louis, Cincinnati and 30+ cities for iHeartRadio.

Vont moved from New Jersey to the Midwest after graduating from college in 2023 where he was the Program Director and morning show host of WPSC-FM. His hard work and passion for media and content creation are part of the reason he went from a news/talk show producer in Iowa, to nighttime jock in Minneapolis, to morning show personality/producer in Minneapolis in less than a year. His growth on-air and online have been quite significant while still only being 24 years-old.

Vont is often the lightning rod of bold statements or saying things everyone is thinking, so he made a radio segment out of it! Vont Stirs the Pot is a daily morning show feature where uses his sarcastic sense of humor and hot takes to “stir the pot”. Topics like it’s okay to like your own social media posts, he won’t turn right on red, dog birthday parties are pointless, or he’s not eating anything at the company potluck have sparked huge reactions with listeners and online.

When Vont’s not stirring the pot on the radio, he’s probably doing it in the kitchen. Him and his fiancée, Alyssa love to cook and eventually hope to open a Puerto Rican food truck, bringing a cuisine to the Twin Cities that doesn’t exist anywhere else. He also enjoys going to the park with his puppy, Ava, seeing live stand-up comedy and his favorite artists like Bruno Mars and Justin Timberlake in concert.

He also co-hosts Morning Commute, a college-radio show turned podcast with his friends Justyn Chapman and Justis Gregg.
